About the Role
They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Web Developer to join a dynamic ICT team based in Melbourne. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development, optimisation, and maintenance of web platforms, ensuring high performance, usability, and security standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing and sales, contributing to digital strategy execution while ensuring compliance with information security and quality management standards.
Key Responsibilities
Website Development & Optimisation
- Manage the full lifecycle of website development, from design to deployment
- Build and maintain marketing websites, landing pages, and interactive web features
- Optimise websites for performance, SEO, and user experience
- Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure ongoing platform stability and security
- Implement A/B testing and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain clear and accurate technical documentation
CRM Integration & Marketing Technology
- Integrate web forms with CRM and marketing platforms (e.g. Salesforce, ActiveCampaign)
- Automate lead nurturing workflows and support campaign tracking
- Assist in building dashboards and reports for marketing performance analysis
Personalisation & Dynamic Content
- Develop personalised user experiences based on behaviour or location
- Support e-commerce functionality and recommendation engines
- Enable dynamic content updates such as pricing and listings
Compliance & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure all web solutions align with ISO 27001 (security) and ISO 9001 (quality) standards
- Participate in internal audits, training, and improvement initiatives
- Promote best practices in data protection, accessibility, and ethical digital delivery
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
- 1–3 years’ experience in a web development or similar role
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6), jQuery, Ajax
- Experience with frameworks/tools such as AngularJS, Bootstrap, Sass
- Knowledge of PHP, .NET, MySQL, WordPress
- Ability to convert design assets (Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator) into responsive front-end code
- Familiarity with responsive design, media queries, and modern web standards
