Our client is an engineering consultancy with offices in different states across Australia. They are now looking for a suitably qualified structural engineer to join the team in Melbourne.
To be successful in this role, you would need:
- Effective communication skills
- Time management, organisation and networking skills
- 2-3 years’ experience with structural engineering design
- Working experience with structural engineering pertaining to domestic construction highly desirable
- Advanced end to end engineering knowledge within the domestic construction space
- Necessary accreditation or be actively working towards it: NER, RPEQ, PE, BBP, etc.
- Intimate understanding of relevant design standards
Your role will include, but will not be limited to:
- Preparing Structural/Civil calculations and drawings
- Undertaking detailed technical design & documentation for residential/volume housing engineering projects.
- Professionally liaising with clients, drafters, builders and architects
