Our client owns a lovely Bakery store nestled in Melbourne, renowned and popular for its wide range of desserts and fresh bread. They are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to lead the store.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement shop operation plans and related activities to achieve sales targets and maximise profits
  • Responsible for the update and maintenance of the shop’s social media accounts
  • Ability to drive sales and maintain internal and external store budgets
  • Responsible for team building, employee training, rosters, weekly orders, staff delegation, problem solving and working the shop front hands on
  • Responsible for stock management, purchasing and cost control to ensure good operational efficiency
  • Leadership in all matters relating to Health and Safety
  • Ensure that the quality and standard of products meet the requirements and provide a outstanding customer experience

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in restaurant or retail management, including team management and operations management.
  • Excellence in customer service and leadership, motivate the team and promote a good working atmosphere
  • Understanding of the F&B industry and a base of knowledge of the bakery industry
  • Demonstrated sales skills and customer service skills with the ability to deliver a great customer experience
  • Excellent communication and co-ordination skills with the ability to communicate effectively with staff, customers and suppliers
  • Analytical skills with the ability to develop and execute effective operational plans and related activities
  • Knowledge of various social media operations
  • Strict requirements for food safety and hygiene and familiarity with relevant regulations and standards
Salary: $75k-$85k plus super
