Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate on-site construction activities, trades, material deliveries, and project scheduling.
- Monitor construction quality to ensure compliance with Australian Building Codes, Standards, and Workplace Safety requirements.
- Manage subcontractors and construction teams, ensuring all stages of work progress efficiently and effectively.
- Conduct regular site inspections and proactively identify and resolve construction issues and safety risks.
- Attend site meetings and maintain effective communication with Project Managers, Engineers, Consultants, and Suppliers.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within quality standards, and according to project specifications.
Scope of Experience (Experience in all or part of the following areas is preferred)
- Foundations and concrete works
- Light gauge steel framing, flooring systems, roof trusses, and roofing installation
- External cladding installation and painting works
- Window, door, and sliding door installation
- Drainage, plumbing, electrical services, and equipment installation
- Plasterboard installation, internal painting, waterproofing, and flooring works
- Cabinetry, tiling, staircase, and balustrade installation
- External works including fencing, driveways, landscaping, and garage doors
- Scaffolding coordination and overall site management
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in construction site supervision or site management.
- Fluent English and Mandarin speaking skills is preferred but not essential.
- Previous experience in light steel frame construction is highly regarded.
- Strong understanding of Australian Building Codes, Regulations, and Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) requirements.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Proficient in the use of smartphones, tablets, and basic office software.
- Certificate IV in Building & Construction or a related qualification will be highly regarded.
Additional Requirements
- Must be willing to travel to and work in Perth, Western Australia, for a minimum of 3 months for training and project delivery.
- Flexible to work across different project locations and adapt to various site environments.
Salary: $100k-$150k Package
