Our Client is one of the largest construction companies in Australia. They provide the full range of plastering and framing services throughout the Melbourne metropolitan area and the union site. They are looking for a Site Manager to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Supervising and overseeing the direction of the package, ensuring that the client’s specifications and requirements are met, reviewing progress and to monitoring costs.
- Liaising with the client, other construction professionals.
- Arranging, coordinating and supervising construction workers.
- Selecting tools and materials.
- Making safety inspections and ensuring construction and site safety.
- Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings.
- Maintaining quality control procedures.
- Finding ways to prevent problems and to solve any that crop up.
- Assessing and minimising risk.
- Writing reports and keeping on top of paperwork/ emails.
Requirements:
- Experience in the Construction industry
- Ability to read & understand plans
- Coordinate multiple sites
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Full Australian work rights
- Have 2-3 years of commercial / residential experience
- At least 2 years of working experience in the Plasterboard industry and site working experience
- Chinese speaking is preferable but not essential
Salary: $80k - $140k plus super
