Our client is a professional funds management group that offers investment management services and products to qualified investors including high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and institutional groups. They are looking for a Sales Manager to join their team to commit to achieving long-term, sustainable performance.
Responsibilities:
- Generate new leads through prospective clients to promote our products
- Collaborate closely with the Investment team to develop investment funds and mandates that align with market opportunities and investor preferences
- Identify and define the target investor audience and create suitable local and global distribution channels and expand our client base efficiently
- Grow and maintain a strong relationship with investors – private banks, family offices and HNWIs
- Organize and participate in investor roadshows, presenting our funds alongside key stakeholders
- Oversee various sales-related activities, including client database maintenance and collaboration with the marketing team for events, branding, and positioning strategies
- Support the operations team in ensuring smooth communication of formal fund documentation, investor statements, and other relevant client materials
- Generate and provide sales reports, attend and participate in regular meetings when required
- Keeping up with the latest industry developments, including but not limited to compliance, market positioning of corporate competitors
- Develop a strong understanding of target clients, products and competitors
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales objectives and set targets
- Undertake ad-hoc business requests for assistance on behalf of Managing Director.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in fund management, private banking, or private wealth management. In-depth understanding of investment markets and fund portfolio construction, and passion for property investment
- Significant client management experience within investment/asset management context
- Proven, measurable, and successful experience in creating and growing a healthy client base
- Ability to develop and manage relationships with HNWI
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, essential for effective engagement with investors, regulators, and legal representatives
- Strong sales and relationship building skills
- Motivated, dedicated and a self-starter
- Results oriented while maintaining attention to details
- Experience using CRM, or similar systems to manage client relationships
- Adhering to internal and external regulatory and compliance obligations
- Proficient with MS Office Suite
Salary: $100k-$180k plus super plus commission
