The role: 

They are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a growing team at Melbourne CBD office.

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, organising and delivering high-quality, medium to large project outcomes on time, on budget, with high quality.

Responsibilities will span the full project development lifecycle from concept through to delivery including project scope and specifications, procurement/tendering, managing consultants and contractors.

The successful candidate will have: 

  • Tertiary qualifications in architecture, engineering, construction management or project management
  • Proven experience (5 years +) as a Project Manager ideally with mid or high rise commercial and residential projects
  • Proficient use of EstateMaster software a must
  • The ability to acquire new projects and conduct thorough pre-project analysis 
  • The ability to initiate, design, execute, monitor, control and close out projects, including development and management of high value, complex projects in a large and diverse organisation with multiple stakeholders
  • Manage Project Resources, Forecasts, Budgets and Reports
  • Oversee and supervise sub-contract works
  • Tender presentations
  • Current White Card
  • Current driver’s license and own vehicle
  • An understanding of landlord / tenant obligations in leasing would be an advantage

You will have strong time management and planning skills, the ability to read and interpret project documentation, strong client focus and client relationship management skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills, a proactive approach, a sharp eye for detail and the ability to prioritise your work and remain calm under pressure. Proficient mandarin is required for this role to participate in team meetings and for communication with headquarters.

Salary: $130k - $150k include super plus bonus
