Our client is an industry-leading development company. Their portfolio now includes residential and commercial projects across Australia. They are now looking for a Project Manager to join the team.
About the Role:
The role reports to the Associate Project Director. The position is responsible for managing the end-to-end process of projects, liaising with all key stakeholders and coordinating the management of key consultants. The position will be is responsible for the contractual, financial and administration components of allocated projects.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Actively liaise and consult with relevant staff members to ensure effective communication.
- Prepare weekly reports on the status of the project to the Associate Project Director.
- Maintain a cooperative and fair relationship with our clients and their representatives.
- Actively promote the Company and its products through direct relationships and contacts.
- Plan and establish project objectives and targets for work identification, safety, time, cost, quality and environmental.
- Ensure the project is resourced appropriately to meet the objectives, targets and performance indicators.
- Establish an Internal and External Communication and Consultation process in relation to the Project with the client and delivery team.
- Contribute to the review of existing project procedures for design, procurement, execution and project delivery to assist in more efficient processes.
- Ensure the Company’s compliance with applicable regulations, obligations and legislative requirements.
- Manage budgets, forecasted costs and actual fees documented, reported and updated for each development entity.
- Compile financial and cost reports on the performance of the project.
- Managing relationships with relevant stakeholders to achieve successful project delivery.
- Managing day-to-day project administration/accounts.
Comply with all lawful instructions from the Company in performing your duties. - Perform such duties diligently, honestly and to the best of your ability.
- Keep such time and other records accurately as required by the Company.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Supporting the Associate Project Director across several projects at various stages of delivery.
- Managing the procurement, coordination and lodgement of Development Applications.
- Reporting and assessing the ongoing feasibility of projects under your management.
- Creating and managing budgets and cashflows for relevant projects.
- Drafting and designing construction briefs and assisting with the selection and engagement of suppliers, contractors, and consultants.
- Ensuring projects are scoped, designed, built and delivered on time, to budget and at agreed quality.
- Minimum 3 years’ in large townhouse development project(s) with full development cycle experience.
- Exposure to medium and/or high-density apartment development experience across the full development cycle.
Salary: $100k - $120k plus super plus bonus
