Our client is an institution which provides permanent, respite and recovery care for the society. To be a prominent organisation that empowers individuals to live well, free from discrimination and stigma associated with mental health and disability, they are now hiring an Operation Manager to join their team.

The ideal candidate is someone who is an experienced leader and ideally worked in an aged care/mental health community setting previously, someone who can hit the ground running in a newly established role is desirable.

For this role:

Business Development:

  • Achieve revenue goals by effectively managing patient intakes in several facilities, staff productivity, collections and receivables, speciality referral process, and miscellaneous operational expenses
  • Be responsible for business development and growth
  • Increase and stimulates new patient intakes

Management:

  • Recruit, hire and develop teams capable of providing best in class patient care
  • Directly Supervise multiple teams and proactively manages their performance and development
  • Ensure all facilities comply with the relevant legislative guidelines and standards
  • Maintain and track all patient data
  • Maintain facilities, equipment cleanliness, safety and reports and /or corrects hazards when necessary
  • Respond to families and employee grievances, complaints and inquiries

Skills and Experience

  • Several years of relevant management experience
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, management, healthcare or related field highly regarded
  • Proven experience leading a complex multi-site business
  • Proven experience in the leadership, management and development of people
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Experience in working within a complex regulatory framework
  • An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care/Mental Health Accreditation Standards and Outcomes
Salary: $100k-$120k Plus Super
