Head of IT

Our client is a premier global financial services group, providing a wide array of financial products such as margin forex, commodities, stocks, fund management, cryptocurrencies, and various financial derivatives. They are currently seeking a Head of IT well-versed in the MT5 ecosystem to join their growing family.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the team in simplifying the integration of MT5, taking responsibility for the stability of MT5 and surrounding services.
• Develop interface services that convert MT5’s proprietary protocol into more user-friendly REST/WebSocket protocols.
• Ensure the stability of MT5 and related services, guaranteeing that the system meets the future business development requirements and can smoothly scale horizontally through systematic stability measures.
• Collaborate with frontend and backend colleagues to optimize the overall trading experience.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in MT5’s proprietary protocol and related technology stack, with the ability to encapsulate MT5’s proprietary protocol into public services for use by other backend colleagues.
• Proficiency in C# with at least two years of relevant development experience, capable of maintaining C# services and efficiently identifying and resolving performance issues in online C# services.
• In-depth understanding of solutions within the MT5 ecosystem, including but not limited to brokeree, copytrade, QML, EA, etc.
• Ability to collaborate efficiently with colleagues, effective communication skills, and the ability to write clear and comprehensive technical documentation.
• Bonus points: Familiarity with other backend programming languages such as Go/Java.
• Bonus points: Experience in implementing high-concurrency backend systems.
