Our client is a big constantly growing mixed business group who building on its industry reputation and is looking for someone to oversee the strategic and operational development of the Food & Beverage sector under the group.  This role will be responsible for the performance and profitability of the venues. 

About the role

  • Lead the F&B management team to achieve profitable and successful operations;
  • Propose and implement strategic plans to maximise performance, revenue and growth of F&B operations across the group
  • Position the F&B outlets to achieve optimal performance and profitability through continuous assessment of industry and market conditions;
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for the Group’s F&B department, to ensure consistency and quality in operations and service;
  • Conduct analysis of food and beverage prices in relation to competition;
  • Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable federal and state requirements across staffing & WHS policies.

Experience / Qualifications / Competencies

  • At least 7 years of experience in progressive F&B roles (with strategic and operational experience) with proven outcomes managing multiple concepts and outlets;
  • Fluent in Chinese and English; 
  • Experience with opening new venues;
  • Evidence of supplier management;
  • Relevant degree (Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management etc);
  • Proven knowledge of financial cost controls and management of financial performance.
Salary: $130k-$180k plus super
