Construction Site Manager

Our client is a Real Estate Developer specializing in high-end residential projects, including apartments, townhouses and luxury homes. They are seeking a skilled and experienced site based Construction Site Manager to oversee the project delivery of their premium developments.

Responsibilities:

• Consider and develop comprehensive project plans, ensuring all project activities are aligned with objectives and timelines
• Lead and motivate project teams, including internal staff, subcontractors and consultants, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
• Lead and coordinate design outcomes in collaboration with consultants and subcontractors that meet project briefs, optimise buildability, and maximise cost efficiency
• Oversee contract administration, ensuring compliance with contract terms and effective management of variations and claims
• Manage project budgets, track expenditures, investigate and procure cost-effective outcomes
• Maintain effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members, providing regular project updates and addressing any issues promptly
• Ensure all construction activities comply with industry standards , knowledge of relevant construction regulations, codes, safety standards, and delivering high-quality outcomes
• Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimise impact on project timelines and budgets

Requirements:

• Tertiary or trades qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years’ full-time experience in the managing house/ townhouse projects is preferred 
• Strong technical understanding of construction processes and demonstrated experience in construction delivery in challenging environments with high safety and quality work standards
• Proven track record of successfully managing high-profile projects
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
• Experience in usage of Project Management Software including, MS Project and ClickHome is preferred
• Critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese is essential
• Valid Driver’s Licence
