Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage daily civil construction site activities, project scheduling, and work progress.
- Supervise subcontractors, site personnel, and material deliveries to ensure smooth project execution.
- Ensure all construction works comply with Australian Standards, Civil Engineering specifications, and Workplace Health & Safety requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections and proactively identify and resolve construction issues.
- Monitor and coordinate project timelines to ensure milestones and project deadlines are achieved.
- Maintain effective communication with Project Managers, Engineers, Suppliers, and Construction Teams.
- Organise and participate in site meetings, ensuring construction quality and safety standards are maintained.
- Promote and maintain a safe, productive, and efficient work environment on site.
Scope of Experience (Experience in all or part of the following areas is preferred)
- Earthworks and site preparation
- Sewer and drainage infrastructure
- Road and pavement construction
- Retaining wall construction
- Water and gas service installation
- Electrical and telecommunications infrastructure
- Construction plant and equipment coordination
- Site safety management and quality assurance
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Civil Construction Site Supervision or Civil Site Management.
- Fluent English and Mandarin speaking skills is preferred but not essential.
- Strong understanding of Australian Civil Construction Standards, Regulations, and Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) requirements.
- Excellent site coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead site teams to achieve project objectives.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-tasking construction environment.
- Proficient in the use of smartphones, tablets, and basic office software.
- Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Site Supervision, or related disciplines will be highly regarded.
- Previous experience in residential land developments, municipal works, or infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
Additional Requirements
- Must be willing to travel to and work in Perth, Western Australia, for a minimum of 3 months for training and project delivery.
- Flexible to work across different project locations and adapt to various site construction environments.
Salary: $140k - $180k package
