Our client is an authentic Chinese cuisine restaurant in the heart of the Melbourne CBD and is passionate about serving wholesome, flavoursome and innovative dishes to their loved guests. They are now looking for Chinse Restaurant Manager to join the team.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Coordinating daily restaurant management operations
- Delivering superior food and beverage service and maximizing customer satisfaction
- Ensure all food safety procedures are strictly adhered to according to sanitary regulations
- Responding efficiently and accurately to restaurant customer complaints
- Maintain safe working conditions
- Recruiting and interview new staffs
- Train and supervise staff
- Opening/closing and end of shift reconciliation
- Maintaining a clean and tidy work area and warehouse
- Estimating future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products
- Work closely with management to meet revenue objectives
- Implement appropriate strategies to resolve adverse trends and improve sales
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding the handling of cash, property, products and equipment
- Audit inventory levels to ensure product availability, and order products as necessary
- Participating in manual stocktake & disposal of goods
- Promoting the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events
- Implementing policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations
Experience / Qualifications / Key Competencies:
- PR/citizen/unlimited working rights visa
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Excellent customer service skills
Salary: Negotiable depends on experience
