They are currently seeking an experienced and professional Senior Property Manager to join their dynamic Rental Department team.
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Property Manager who enjoys building strong landlord and tenant relationships while being supported by a well-structured team environment. You will be managing a portfolio of approximately 170 properties, reporting directly to the Head of Department, with strong operational support including leasing support, routine inspection support, ingoing condition report support, and dedicated VA assistance. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, solutions-focused, and passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a residential portfolio of approximately 170 properties
- Maintain strong relationships with landlords and tenants through professional communication
- Handle rental arrears management with effective negotiation skills
- Coordinate urgent repairs and maintenance requests efficiently
- Manage lease renewals and conduct rent reviews
- Ensure compliance with Victorian residential tenancy regulations and safety checks
- Prepare VCAT documentation and attend hearings when required
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all administration is completed on time
Requirements
- Previous experience in Property Management within the Australian real estate market
- Valid Agent’s Representative Certificate
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
- Native-level English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong customer service and relationship management abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
- Experience using PropertyMe and Inspection Express software preferred
- Australian Permanent Residency or Citizenship required
- One in every four Saturdays is required for open inspections, with one day off in lieu provided.
