Inventory Officer

An emerging brand is looking for an attention to detail number-savvy individual who will be a crucial part of a growing fashion accessory company. This is a key role that will see you taking control over the inventory to ensure that everything is running smoothly, and stock levels are accurate.

Responsibilities

• Stock records keeping for products, supplies etc.
• Tracking incoming and outgoing products and supplies 
• Physical stock management including stock take and stock organization
• Dispatching orders (both wholesale and online retail)
• Working with the finance team to update stock records
• New products release in the system and on online shops
• Assist sales team with stock information including quantity, product descriptions etc.
• Assist marketing team with various campaigns, events and projects
• Assist eCommerce team with various projects and routine improvements
• Developing and improving inventory management procedures
• Investigate any discrepancies to ensure inventory numbers are correct
• Ad hoc tasks from time to time

Requirements:

• Completion of VCE or tertiary studies
• Confident and good with numbers, excellent math and analytical skills
• High attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, strong ability to work within a small yet diverse team
• Strong excel skills. Shopify and Retail Express experiences are highly regarded
• Must be able to speak Chinese – essential
• Full drivers license is essential
