Estimator

Our Client is one of the largest construction companies in Australia. They provide the full range of plastering and framing services throughout the Melbourne metropolitan area and the union site. They are looking for an Estimator to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Doing take-off & BOQ using CostX
• Quotation Preparing
• Attending site & client office meetings
• Preparing pre-start documents ( SWMS etc.)
• Preparing variations as per directed by senior staff
• Coordinating with site managers and office admins to prepare a monthly claim for the client
• Keep track of the material price rise and fall within our industry

Requirements:

• Ability to read & understand plans
• Coordinate multiple sites
• Excellent time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• familiar with plasterboard, metal framing, and insulation material
• Having 2 years of experience in the plasterboard industry required
• Chinese speaking is preferable but not essential
• Full Australian work rights
