Our client is a well-known Real Estate Group which specialises in property renovation. They provide overall housing design, construction planning and project management services etc. They are now looking for an Estimating Administrator to join their team in a premium location in Melbourne.
Responsibilities:
- Assist to prepare project cost estimation, monitoring project budget to ensure all expenditures are within the allowance.
- Revise estimates and implement required changes.
- Finalise and present tenders to the manager.
- Provide advice and cost planning information on a day-to-day basis.
- Identify and learn customer requirements for bid purposes.
- Manage and maintain document control practices, standards, systems and processes relevant to the operation of projects.
- Manage subcontractors inclusive of compiling scope of works, tender packages, reviewing and vetting contractor quotes.
- Establish and maintain a network of local suppliers and subcontractors.
- Participate in pre and post-bid meetings as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident Only
- Excellent communication and written skills(both English and Mandarin)
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or equivalent education background.
- 1-2 years of related experience required is preferred.
Salary: $60k-$70k plus super
