Electrical Apprentice

Our client is a dedicated electrical contracting company that specialises in residential, commercial and industrial projects and maintenance services.

About the Role

Due to their continued expansion, they have a great opportunity for 1 motivated individual for a 2nd or 3rd-year electrical apprenticeship.

• The successful applicant will work across multiple projects throughout Melbourne ranging from domestic projects to commercial and industrial projects.
• The successful candidate must be willing to travel all over Melbourne as required.
• You will perform a range of electrical work under the supervision of experienced A Grade Electricians including, but not limited to, wiring and installation of lighting and power points, temporary power installations, underground cabling, switchboard installations and data cabling.

The successful candidates will have:

• Completed year 12 (VCE, VCAL)
• Ideally completed a Pre-Apprenticeship Course (Certificate II in Electrotechnology)
• Construction Induction Card (White card)
• Current Drivers licence
• Working with children’s check (required upon commencement)
• The ability to work well as part of a team
• Enjoy learning on the job and in a classroom
• Are punctual, reliable and motivated
• Great time management including the ability to manage multiples tasks and work to deadlines
• Excellent communication skills
• Physically fit
• A positive attitude and commitment to high quality work
• Flexible to work overtime including Saturdays and Sundays when required
