Retail Asset Manager

Our client offers a high level of service to landlords and tenants and prides themselves on building strong relationships with all stakeholders. The Retail Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of management and leasing for a range of commercial and retail assets for the company.

Responsibilities / Principal Tasks

• Centre management and asset management of retail assets
• Successfully negotiate new leases/market reviews and options
• Co-ordinate and execute tenant retention strategies and programs
• Lease management of renewals and sourcing of new tenants
• Develop relationships with both current and prospective tenants
• Ensure that all supplier agreements and sub-contracts are compliant with company standards and relevant legislation
• Manage financial management of leases and collection of rent and outgoings

Experience / Qualifications / Key Competencies

• At least 5 years of centre management and/or retail leasing experience
• Strong negotiation skills
• High level communication skills – written and verbal, proficiency with Property Tree software
• Current Real Estate Licence/Certificate of Registration (preferred but not essential)
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• A keen eye for details and ability to manage the portfolio from an owner’s perspective
• Valid Driver’s Licence
