A new concept restaurant is looking for a professional Sous Chef to join their energetic and friendly team.

Main Duties/ Responsibilities

  • To help and assist the head chef with the running operations of the kitchen, staff and menu
  • Overseeing service and food preparation
  • Creating menu ideas and future planning
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations

The Requirements

  • Be qualified and have had previous Japan cuisine experience in either a sous chef or head chef role before
  • Australia Citizen/PR/Full-time permission working VISA
  • Be able to work unsupervised
  • Strong communication and coordination skill
  • Excellent knife skills
  • Be available 6-7 days per week
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin, Cantonese prefer but not essential
Salary: $70k plus super plus bonus
