A new concept restaurant is looking for a professional Sous Chef to join their energetic and friendly team.
Main Duties/ Responsibilities
- To help and assist the head chef with the running operations of the kitchen, staff and menu
- Overseeing service and food preparation
- Creating menu ideas and future planning
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
The Requirements
- Be qualified and have had previous Japan cuisine experience in either a sous chef or head chef role before
- Australia Citizen/PR/Full-time permission working VISA
- Be able to work unsupervised
- Strong communication and coordination skill
- Excellent knife skills
- Be available 6-7 days per week
- Fluent in English and Mandarin, Cantonese prefer but not essential
Salary: $70k plus super plus bonus
