Project Manager

A Melbourne based large development company is seeking for an experienced Project Manager:

Key responsibilities as follows:

• Manage team to conduct due diligence research for target suburbs and properties, prepare suburb due diligence reports
• Liaise with real estate agents and conduct research required for property acquisition
• Ensuring that clients understand all aspect of products and procedures
• Manage project phases including design development, documentation, construction and post-construction
• Be accountable for the financial management of Project’s, capturing and monitoring all project costs, including assessment of Variations, Progress Claims/Claims for Payment and all required reporting is accurate
• Managing time and progress of the work under each project, monitoring and reporting on slippage, processing Extension of Time Claims according to the Contract, and potential risks to the overall programme
• Manage and lead consultant team
• Liaise with statutory authorities for approvals and certificates
• Interpret and deliberate on contractual issues that may arise out of the Contract
• Ensuring all paperwork and tasks are carried out efficiently and timely
• Delivering multiple high quality projects simultaneously
• The be able to read and interpret plans and detailed specifications
• Be a team player, to share your experiences with the business to promote knowledge sharing

• 2-5 years experience of PM build related work for development
• Proven experience of working on residential, commercial or retail led projects
• Strong knowledge of D&C contract and process
